Moroccan cuisine · Milan
Morocco at the table, in Milan.
Maison Touareg brings to Milan a Moroccan cuisine built on recipes, time, gestures and hospitality. Couscous is one of the Maison’s symbols, but its identity continues in the tagines, the bastila, the starters, the spices and the mint tea.
A cuisine, not a postcard
The Moroccan cuisine of the Maison is not treated as scenery. It is daily work made of preparations, slow cooking, balanced spices and attention to service. The aim is to let you recognise Morocco in the dishes and, at the same time, to offer a well-kept dinner in a Milanese setting.
Couscous, tagine, bastila
Hand-rolled couscous is central to the story of Maison Touareg, but it does not exhaust the menu. The tagines tell the time of slow cooking; the bastila brings together sweet, savoury and spices; the starters and the mint tea complete a journey that changes with the menu and the season.
For those looking for an ethnic restaurant or a special dinner
Those looking for an ethnic restaurant in Milan are often not only looking for a different cuisine: they are looking for a place with an identity. Maison Touareg wants to be chosen for that — for a recognisable Moroccan cuisine, for its atmosphere and for a personal way of welcoming guests.
A recognised story
In 2024 Mourad Dakir and Hanae Chaoui won the Bia Cous Cous World Championship at the Cous Cous Fest for Team Morocco. In 2025 Maison Touareg starred in Foodish on Sky/TV8. These are milestones of a story that began in Milan in 2017.
