Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This page explains which cookies and similar tools maisontouareg.it uses, what they are for and how to turn them on or off. We use no advertising, profiling or tools such as Meta Pixel: only technical cookies and, with your consent, Google Analytics. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.

Strictly necessary

The site stores your cookie choice using the browser’s local storage (localStorage), not a traditional cookie: the data — simply “analytics on” or “analytics refused” — stays only on your device and is never sent to Maison Touareg or to third parties. It only serves to remember your preference from one visit to the next, so the banner does not reappear on every page.

Analytics — Google Analytics 4

If you choose “Accept analytics”, the site loads Google Analytics 4, which collects anonymised statistical data on how the site is used: pages visited, traffic origin, interactions with contact buttons. The IP address is anonymised before being processed. The provider is Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC.

Google Analytics is not activated until you give consent. Before you choose, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no statistical data is sent: the site sets Google Consent Mode to “denied” by default for all categories (analytics and advertising), and updates it only when you explicitly accept.

Once active, Google Analytics 4 sets these cookies on the maisontouareg.it domain:

_ga — lasts 2 years, distinguishes visitors anonymously.
_ga_<container ID> — lasts 2 years, keeps the state of the analytics session.

We use no remarketing, personalised advertising or tools such as Meta Pixel: the storage for advertising and personalisation always stays on “denied”, regardless of your choice on Analytics.

How to change or withdraw your choice

At the bottom of every page you will find the “Cookie preferences” link: it takes you back to the choice panel, where you can turn Google Analytics on or off at any time. Withdrawal is immediate: statistical events stop being sent from the moment you refuse.
